About the Role
The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and developing existing customers through high levels of service to expand and strengthen relationships. This role is part of the sales team and focuses on customer planning, administration, revenue optimization, and operational performance for branch accounts. The Account Manager upholds WMHS policies, standards, and practices, ensuring adherence to the company's Vision, Mission, and Values.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop existing customers by being the subject matter expert to optimize service quality, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Actively identify opportunities to introduce additional services, increasing revenue potential within each customer's business portfolio.
- Liaise with customers to understand their requirements for current and planned products and services.
- Maintain a high-profile presence in the market by conducting client care visits, transforming sales relationships into long-term partnerships.
- Proactively conduct strategic account reviews with assigned customers to review service needs and usage trends.
- Handle and respond to all customer problems and inquiries expediently in the best interest of both the customer and WMHS.
- Formulate strategies to retain customers with decreasing revenue using innovative thinking.
- Partner with the Operations team on retention and customer issues.
- Debrief on service issues with Sales Manager, Operations Manager, and CSRs as required.
- Complete standard weekly and quarterly reports, along with ad hoc reporting requests.
- Participate in all sales and other training provided by WMHS/WMHS.
- Participate in special projects and promotional campaigns under the direction of the District Sales Manager/Director of Sales.
- Maintain a responsible approach to all security and safety matters related to WMHS operations, following company policies and procedures.
- Bring any areas of concern to the manager's attention.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- 2 years of account management experience
- Bilingual in English and French
- Must reside within the territory (Toronto and area, other surrounding areas)
- Must have, or be willing to obtain, a REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative for potential air travel or access to federal property.
