About the Role
This role is responsible for managing designated accounts, building and managing client relationships, and driving sales growth within the Italian market. You will work as part of a collaborative, international team to create memorable experiences for clients and their customers.
Responsibilities
- Understand and develop strong commercial relationships with clients, including their product preferences, market position, and suitable products for maximum sales.
- Understand the markets, competitive landscape, and pressures, working with clients to grow their business and our business with them.
- Understand clients’ sales cycles to ensure timely and appropriate quoting to maximize share of business and client growth.
- Support the Sales team in achieving agreed annual new business revenue and margin targets for core destinations.
- Create touring itineraries with clients to gain sales and a competitive advantage.
- Prepare itineraries, costing, and quotations for Groups with the help of Tourplan.
- Collaborate with Contracting, Placement, and Operations teams to offer and deliver competitive and high-quality products.
- Ensure offer price and margin are competitive and profitable within company guidelines.
- Follow up with clients promptly to convert offers and quotes into profitable sales with client satisfaction.
- Serve as a key client contact through regular calls, meetings, and emails.
Requirements

- Work experience in a similar role in a DMC or within the tourism industry is preferred.
- Strong positive verbal and written communication skills, fluent in Italian and English.
- Good knowledge of Great Britain and Ireland as tourism destinations.
- IT literate.
- Ability to work in a team, adapt to changing circumstances, and proactively solve issues.
- Strong analytical skills to assess situations, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.
