About the Role

BINGO is seeking a hands-on Data Analyst for their Transformation Team. This technical role focuses on SQL and Power BI, utilizing Excel for data cleaning and analysis. You will develop datasets, reporting, and insights from operational, commercial, and financial data to support business decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Write, troubleshoot, and maintain SQL queries in Snowflake for data extraction, joining, transformation, aggregation, and validation.
• Clean, standardize, and maintain master, transactional, and reporting datasets.
• Develop and maintain reporting datasets, business logic, and Power BI data models.
• Build Power BI reports, dashboards, and DAX measures for insights and decision support.
• Analyze business performance, identify trends and anomalies, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Use Excel for data cleaning, reconciliation, modeling, and analysis.
• Investigate data quality issues, including duplicates, missing data, inconsistent values, and reconciliation discrepancies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Validate outputs against source data, document definitions and assumptions, and identify process improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Two or more years of professional experience in a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Reporting Analyst role, or equivalent demonstrated technical capability.
• Regular hands-on experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
• Practical SQL skills including joins, aggregations, CASE expressions, and CTEs.
• Understanding of dataset grain and table relationships.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, logical formulas, and text/date manipulation.
• Experience using Excel to clean, reconcile, and analyze raw data.
• Experience developing Power BI reports, including data relationships, data models, and DAX measures.
• Demonstrated ability to investigate unexpected results, reconcile outputs, and explain analytical approaches.
• Strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
