About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the smooth operation of the Meeting & Events department, including quote creation, detailing, and ensuring correct invoicing for both Meliá Berlin & INNSiDE by Meliá Berlin Mitte.
  • Creation of individually tailored offers.
  • Preparation of documents and necessary information for appointments and meetings.
  • Conducting follow-up and handling complaints.
  • Professional instruction and supervision of trainees and interns.
  • Contacting clients after the event to check customer satisfaction and invoice control.
  • Thorough knowledge of the hotel's service portfolio and all possibilities to meet guest wishes.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in hotel management or event management.
  • Strong hospitality mentality, organizational, structural, and problem-solving skills.
  • Initial leadership experience with a team-oriented leadership style.
  • Experience in event sales and coordination.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Loyalty, flexibility, independence, initiative, and stress resistance.
  • Initial experience in supervising and guiding trainees.
  • Good German and English language skills (written and spoken); other languages are an advantage.
  • Initial IT skills: Hotel program Opera Cloud, MS Office (365 is an advantage).
  • Very good communication skills and empathy.
  • Structured and independent way of working.
