About the Role

Responsibilities
- Perform complex field service operations with minimal guidance.
- Deliver exceptional services in installation, maintenance, and repairs.
- Exceed customer expectations by anticipating their needs.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and proactively prevent issues.
- Identify and resolve electrical or mechanical problems independently.
- Develop potential sales and business opportunities.
- Suggest improvements to enhance operations and customer service.
- Lead field service projects and provide direction and analysis.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudes.
- Trade education and experience in Industrial Mechanic or Electrical trades.
- Over 5 years of experience in technical field service work.
- Hands-on experience with high voltage equipment up to 800kV.
- Knowledge of electrical testing and substation construction.
- Leadership experience in coordinating and leading crews.
- Proficiency in MS Office and test equipment software.
- Valid US driver's license and ability to travel extensively (80%).
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
