About the Role

As an Electronics Technician, you will test and troubleshoot electronic products to the component level using advanced tools like oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and Hi-Pot meters. You will interpret schematics, mentor teammates, and recommend process improvements to ensure the highest quality standards in a collaborative, self-directed team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate specialized test equipment to evaluate electronic products.
  • Troubleshoot to the component and sub-assembly level using schematics and established procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance to Assemblers and mentor new technicians.
  • Interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure all quality feedback is documented and communicated effectively.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Employment is contingent upon the ability to prove U.S. Person status (U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, asylee, or refugee).
  • Successful completion of a drug screen may be required.
  • May be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing.

Experience Level

  • 1-3 years of manufacturing experience with a 2-year degree or Certified Electronics Program
  • No experience required with a 4-year degree

Education Level

  • A 2-year degree in Electronics or related field
  • Certified Electronics Program (18 months)
  • 4-year degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) or related field
  • PR Certification must be obtained within the probationary period.

Salary/Compensations

  • $35 - $37/hr. plus a night shift differential of 10%
  • Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
