About the Role
Our Operating Model team is seeking exceptional consultants to support clients in designing strategies, operating structures, and solutions for complex challenges within Defence & Security, Health, and the wider Public Sector. You will collaborate with diverse experts, applying design thinking, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills to address societally meaningful client needs.
Responsibilities
- Support clients to design strategies, operating structures and solutions.
- Deliver projects requiring strategic design, business analysis, and organisational design.
- Define programmes and ensure design coherence.
- Work in blended teams with specialists from across PA.
- Apply a design thinking mindset, tools, and approaches to resolve complex client challenges.
- Engage and present to clients, communicating recommendations and insights.
- Contribute to the growth and evolution of the team through participatory and federated leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in one or more of the following: shaping business strategy and designing organisational/collaborative structures, analysing customer/user/citizen value, understanding how technology enhances organizational effectiveness.
- Experience in digital operating models is highly beneficial.
- Experience analysing and solving problems using a data-driven and human-centred approach.
- Experience delivering within or for defence, health, and/or public sector organisations.
- Understanding the drivers for change facing national security, health, and/or wider public sector leaders.
- Conversant in business or technology architecture concepts.
- Familiar with enterprise operating model concepts.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Confident working independently as the day-to-day client point of contact.
- Must meet residency requirements for UK security clearance (British citizen or resident in the UK for the past 5 years).
