About the Role

We are growing the engineering team at LD14, one of Equinix's newest London/Slough data centres, and we are hiring across multiple experience levels. If you have completed your NVQ Level 3 and AM2 and have experience working on electrical systems, we will provide the training and support to help you succeed. Whether you have worked in commercial building services, facilities maintenance, utilities, rail, the Armed Forces, or another technical environment, your skills could be a great fit.

Responsibilities

Operating, maintaining and repairing critical facility systems
Responding to incidents
Supporting vendors
Maintaining site documentation
Keeping the site running safely and reliably 24 hours a day
Planned maintenance
Fault finding
Responding to alarms
Supporting contractors
Carrying out inspections
Reviewing system performance
Helping deliver infrastructure projects

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
AM2 Qualification
Experience working on electrical equipment in a commercial or industrial environment
A strong focus on safety
A willingness to learn
