About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced and polished Private Butler for an UHNW household in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly professional, service-driven individual who understands the standards expected within a private UHNW environment. The successful candidate will be discreet, adaptable, immaculately presented, and confident delivering both formal and informal service. The role will suit someone with strong private household experience, ideally complemented by a background in 5-star luxury hospitality.

Responsibilities

Provide formal and informal food and beverage service.
Set tables and prepare dining areas to an exceptional standard.
Offer wine, champagne, and beverage service.
Assist with entertaining, dinners, and private events.
Anticipate principals' requirements and deliver discreet, intuitive service.
Handle packing and preparation for travel.
Assist with household organisation and general day-to-day requirements.
Run errands and assist with ad hoc requests.
Maintain household inventories and ensure supplies are appropriately stocked.
Liaise closely with other members of the household team.
Support the smooth running of the residence wherever required.
Assist with household technology and entertainment systems where necessary.

Requirements

Previous experience within an UHNW/HNW private household strongly preferred.
Excellent service standards and attention to detail.
Confident with formal and informal dining service.
Knowledge of wine and beverages.
Highly discreet and trustworthy.
Immaculately presented.
Calm, organised, and proactive.
Able to work effectively as part of an established household team.
Flexible regarding evenings, changing schedules, and occasional short-notice requests.
Comfortable with local travel when required.
A luxury hotel or 5-star hospitality background may also be considered where combined with the right private-service mindset.
