About the Role
As an Area Director for Southeast London and North Kent, you will provide strategic, operational, and commercial leadership, focusing on exceptional clinical quality and client care while developing high-performing teams. You will collaborate with Central Support functions to embed company values and play a key role in recruiting, developing, and retaining veterinary talent.
Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador of company values and embed company culture.
- Mobilize the UK strategy within an area by facilitating best practice sharing, growing communication channels between practices, and supporting initiative rollouts.
- Oversee the operational and commercial performance of practices within the Area.
- Manage staff attraction, retention, and engagement across the area.
- Collaborate with the Area Support Manager on aligned approaches to Area priorities, performance, and improvements.
- Provide line management to Clinical Directors.
- Support future network planning and growth initiatives by providing strategic information and input.
Requirements
- Must hold a full and valid driving license.
- Must have large multi-site management experience.
- Experience managing large-scale budgets.
- Willingness to travel extensively across West Midlands and the Black Country area.
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
