About the Role
This role owns the foundation of every go-to-market decision at Fin, focusing on account and contact data. You will build and run systems that define accounts, resolve duplicates, stitch subsidiaries into hierarchies, source and enrich new accounts and contacts using LLMs and web research. Your work directly impacts Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Sales Ops, and Finance, shaping how efficiently Fin grows.
Responsibilities
- Owning account identity by building and improving the entity-resolution layer for company record matching, confidence scoring, and merge/dedupe pipelines.
- Modelling account hierarchy by designing the organization spine that links accounts to their parent, top operating parent, and ultimate corporate parent.
- Building account sourcing pipelines to turn market definitions into CRM-ready account lists, sourcing from third-party and internal signals, scoring fit, and pushing accounts into Salesforce with the right owner and metadata.
- Building contact sourcing and enrichment pipelines to find, verify, and enrich contacts at target accounts, respecting privacy and consent, and delivering them into rep and marketer tools.
- Building LLM-powered enrichment by extending the enrichment framework with web search and crawling tools to answer specific business questions.
- Making data usable by landing it in well-modelled, well-tested dbt models in Snowflake orchestrated in Airflow, and syncing it to Salesforce, Marketo, Clay, and the GTM stack.
- Owning quality and trust by instrumenting pipelines with tests, alerts, and reconciliation, and serving as the point person for GTM data inquiries.
- Partnering on the problem, not the ticket, by sitting with Sales, Marketing, and Ops to understand their needs and propose data foundation solutions.
Requirements
- Experience with the modern data stack: dbt, a cloud warehouse (Snowflake), and a DAG orchestrator (Airflow).
- Experience building with LLMs in production, including prompt design, evaluation, tool/function calling, web search/crawling, and cost/latency control.
- Experience with entity resolution, identity, or deduplication problems, including matching messy records and understanding precision/recall trade-offs.
- Hands-on experience integrating with SaaS APIs and business systems, particularly Salesforce.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to both business and engineering stakeholders.
- A growth mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Experience with GTM data vendors and tooling (ZoomInfo, Apollo, Clearbit, Clay, Crossbeam, Marketo, Census/Fivetran, Gong) is a plus.
- Experience with territory design, account scoring, propensity models, or ICP definition is a plus.
- Exposure to privacy and compliance considerations for contact data (GDPR, CCPA, consent management) is a plus.
