About the Role
Hyperstack is seeking a Product Designer to build its first design function from scratch. This role offers direct influence over product strategy, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape the user experience for a technical, infrastructure-focused platform.
Responsibilities
- Own UX and interaction design across Hyperstack's core journeys, including onboarding, account activation, GPU selection, funding, and Kubernetes workflows.
- Translate technical requirements directly from the Product Lead into clear workflows.
- Conduct independent user research and journey mapping using customer feedback and reviews.
- Manage the end-to-end design process from research to shipped product.
- Establish and build Hyperstack's initial product design function.
Requirements
- Shipped UX/interaction design work for a technical, infrastructure, or developer-facing product.
- Proven ability to translate input directly from a Product Lead into clear workflows without extensive design team support or heavy process.
- Independent research capability to map user journeys without a pre-defined brief.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and a flat reporting line, demonstrating self-direction.
- Product design experience at a cloud, infrastructure, or developer-tooling company (Nice to Have).
- Experience owning complex B2B onboarding or activation flows (Nice to Have).
- Experience operating as a design function of one, or close to it (Nice to Have).
