About the Role

In this responsible position, you will actively shape the operational control of one of Europe's largest public swimming pool operators. You will ensure that resources such as personnel, water areas, and operational equipment are optimally utilized, making a decisive contribution to the implementation of our service strategy and economic planning. Together with your team, you will support our facility managers in daily operations and continuously improve central control processes.

Responsibilities

Lead and strategically develop a team of approximately 10 employees, positioning them as a competent partner for internal customers.
Represent the operational management in professional, organizational, and administrative matters.
Take over the leadership and control of tasks and teams within the department as needed.
Be responsible for the holistic planning and control of personnel, water areas, and operational resources, including water time calculation, occupancy planning, and personnel and duty scheduling.
Manage budgets for operational equipment and oversee the planning and coordination of maintenance measures.
Be responsible for operational safety concepts, develop them further, and manage the requirements and budgeting of external security services.

Requirements

Completed scientific university degree in economics, industrial engineering, or a comparable field, or equivalent qualifications acquired through several years of practical experience with corresponding responsibility.
Extensive professional experience with well-founded strategic, conceptual, and operational leadership experience, particularly in dispatching, contract, or site management.
Well-founded user knowledge in operational and personnel-related resource planning and control, as well as in contract management.
Strategic and conceptual thinking, combined with pragmatic and implementation-oriented action, always keeping goal achievement in mind.
Convincing personality and professional competence, creating acceptance among various stakeholders and leading teams clearly, purposefully, and solution-oriented.
Strong service and economic orientation, communication skills, and down-to-earth attitude.
High change management competence, identifying optimization potential and consistently driving its implementation.
