  • Support the effective closure and handover of completed projects.
  • Support project profitability through effective planning, resource coordination, and budget monitoring.
  • Act as the main day-to-day contact for clients on assigned projects.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal teams, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, upcoming activity, and decisions required.
  • Ensure client queries and concerns are responded to promptly and professionally.
  • Confirm project resource requirements and coordinate availability across internal teams and external contractors.
  • Ensure project teams have the information and documentation needed to complete their work.
  • Manage competing priorities across the assigned project portfolio.
  • Identify and record project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Agree appropriate actions with the project team.
  • Monitor actions and escalate significant risks, delays, or blockers where required.
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, and time spent.
  • Maintain accurate project forecasts.
  • Provide project information to support client invoicing.
  • Produce clear and concise project status updates and client reports.
  • Keep project systems, trackers, and records up to date.
  • Support the review and quality assurance process for client deliverables.
  • Maintain meeting notes, action logs, risk registers, and project plans.
  • Support project reviews and lessons learned, identifying practical improvements to processes and templates.

Requirements

  • Experience managing client projects and delivering work to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Eligibility for Security Clearance and willingness to undergo the required vetting process.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong client, stakeholder, and relationship-management skills.

  • Confidence using project-management, collaboration, and Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to work independently, identify risks and issues, and escalate matters appropriately.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach and the flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how effective project delivery supports business performance and client outcomes.
  • Experience working within a consultancy, professional-services, technology, security, risk-management, or public-sector organisation (desirable).
