About the Role

Seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in SRv6, MPLS, IPv6, BGP, ISIS, EVPN, and Service Provider Networks to support Optus network transformation and modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support and drive RCA for critical incidents.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IP/MPLS Service Provider networks
• Strong hands-on experience with SRv6 (Segment Routing IPv6), MPLS & Segment Routing, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, IPv4 & IPv6, Traffic Engineering and QoS
• Experience on Nokia 7750 SR / SR OS, Cisco ASR9K / NCS / IOS-XR, Juniper (preferred)
• Network automation experience using Python, Ansible, YANG, NETCONF/RESTCONF
• Experience in carrier-grade backbone networks, network transformation, and migration programs
• 6-8+ years of experience
