About the Role

You will be responsible for the maintenance and provision of our subway and operational vehicles, as well as for the technical and organizational alignment of processes and workshop operations in the main workshop. In this key role, you will lead six team leaders and bear overall responsibility for around 200 employees at three locations. You will actively shape the future of our fleet, our processes, and the workshop infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Maintenance of our subway and operational vehicles, observing legal, normative, and operational requirements
Ensuring maintenance is on time and meets quality standards, considering economic efficiency, safety, and technical availability
Standardization and optimization of processes and maintenance strategies, as well as the use and further development of key performance indicator management (preventive, corrective, condition-based)
Implementation of continuous improvement process methods and ensuring occupational safety, fire protection, and compliance with all relevant audit and quality requirements

Requirements

Completed degree in vehicle technology, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent skills and knowledge based on many years of professional experience
Several years of leadership experience in a technical environment and ideally knowledge in maintenance
Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level)
Secure handling of relevant regulations, guidelines, and legal requirements (e.g., BOStrab)
Experience in managing and further developing maintenance processes and knowledge in quality management
A communicative, motivating leadership personality with strong change readiness, strategic thinking, and clear decision-making ability
