About the Role

Join Initial Washroom Hygiene at the Croydon branch as a Service Team Leader within the Operations and Management Graduate Program. This role offers a dynamic career path in a FTSE100 company, focusing on managing a team, ensuring key performance indicators are met, and contributing to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Customer Delivery Representatives.
  • Ensure delivery of Key KPIs, including Health and Safety, State of Service, Vehicle Maintenance, and Productivity.
  • Plan weekly routes to maximize customer facing time and minimize driving time.
  • Conduct daily debriefings of direct reports to ensure planned works are completed and re-plan as necessary.
  • Provide clarity on business expectations for customer service for drivers.
  • Assist the service management team with customer service requests and related information.
  • Coordinate customer service requests and other related information to ensure customer service expectations are achieved.
  • Work with the Service Centre Manager, Service Manager, and Other Service Team Leaders to deliver company objectives.
  • Manage performance to ensure CDRs are working contracted hours and fulfilling daily calls.
  • Address performance issues with direct reports.
  • Contribute to route solutions for new customer service requirements.
  • Identify sub-standard customer service, route deficiencies, or CDR performance issues.
  • Provide customer service data from the CDR to the service centre management team.
  • Communicate business requirements to the CDRs, ensuring clarity on objectives and tasks.
  • Plan time to ensure the service operation runs efficiently.
  • Ensure all CDRs operate in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Support and coordinate CDR resources.
  • Develop and manage CDRs based at the Service Centre.
  • Pro-actively review CDR and vehicle requirements for effective and efficient resource utilization.
  • Adhere to Company Health and Safety and environmental policies and obligations.
  • Participate in Graduate Development Days and project work.
  • Gain exposure to other parts of the business.
  • Take part in the Aspiring Development Program.

Requirements

  • A minimum 2.2 degree in BSc/BA in any subject (business-related, transport, logistics, supply chain or management disciplines preferred but not necessary).
  • A full UK driving licence or be working towards this.
  • Target-driven, ambitious and self-motivated.
  • Comfortable working out in the field dealing with customers face-to-face.
  • Desire to work with people and provide excellent customer service.
  • A desire to work hard and have fun.
