About the Role
Join our team to drive the digitalization and optimization of IT-supported business processes using AI agents, workflow automation, and RPA. You will analyze and model business processes using industry standards like BPMN 2.0, identify automation potential, and contribute to workshops, feasibility studies, and solution development. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience, potentially leading to a Bachelor's or Master's thesis, with systematic mentoring from an experienced team member.
Responsibilities
- Support the digitalization and optimization of IT-supported business processes with business automation solutions like AI agents, workflow automation, and RPA.
- Analyze and model business processes using industry standards (e.g., BPMN 2.0) and derive automation potential.
- Participate in workshops, feasibility studies, and concepts, contributing your perspective to the development of suitable solutions.
- Contribute within the scope of a working student position or project work, gradually taking on responsibility.
- Participate in training on automation and AI technologies, selected project management methods, and soft skills.
Requirements
- Studying Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable degree program.
- Possess basic knowledge in process management.
- Ideally have initial experience with at least one of the following: Workflow Automation (e.g., Camunda, Flowable), process modeling with BPMN 2.0, RPA (e.g., with UiPath), or agent frameworks (e.g., n8n or LangChain).
- Ideally possess programming skills in Java, Python, or SQL.
- Willingness to learn new automation and AI technologies, implement exciting projects, and increasingly take on responsibility.
- Curious about Artificial Intelligence, use AI-supported tools in your daily work, and build your skills step by step.
- Very good German and good English language skills.
