About the Role

Manage three UK payrolls and smaller European payrolls, acting as the subject matter expert for payroll. Collaborate with generalist and finance teams to ensure accurate data processing and reporting. Manage the external payroll provider relationship and lead payroll projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver payroll projects for the region, including new payroll implementations.
• Act as a payroll expert, advising on best practices for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implement regional payroll governance with common practices and SLAs.
• Collaborate with the global PX systems team to identify automation and integration opportunities with the HCM.
• Manage the relationship with the external payroll provider, ensuring adherence to deadlines and SLAs.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll execution, collaborating with PX generalist and Finance teams.
• Ensure all third-party payments are made on time.
• Serve as the main point of contact for payroll-related activities and employee queries.
• Manage year-end processes including P60, P11D, ERs, and Director Emoluments.
• Support Finance on PSA reporting.
• Respond to family-friendly policy queries and pay projection requests requiring manual calculation.
• Support with policy cost projections.
• Handle payroll-related responses to third-party audits.
• Conduct regular audits within the HRIS system to ensure data accuracy.
• Ensure payroll practices comply with country-specific laws and monitor upcoming legislation changes.
• Implement changes in conjunction with the payroll provider and notify the business.

Requirements

• Proven track record in delivering payrolls across multiple European countries, including the UK.
• High attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors in large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong vendor management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of UK payroll rules and regulations.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
