About the Role

This role is part of a Product Team within Veolia DB&T, supporting the DB&T element of all Municipal Bids. The primary focus is on providing written documentation and associated costs for these bids, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness to client requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide written responses for each stage of the bid lifecycle within strict deadlines.
  • Ensure all responses are relevant, specific, fit for purpose, and align with business needs.
  • Prepare and provide bid costs based on provided resources and prevailing costs.
  • Manage workload to meet all submission deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the bid team and attend dialogue meetings to understand Authority requirements.
  • Ensure all documentation is saved and accessible to the team.
  • Create and maintain a library of DB&T information for future reference.
  • Create and maintain a library of diagrams, including integration options and processes.
  • Keep all related DB&T costs up to date.
  • Liaise with other teams to ensure required items are understood and costed appropriately.
  • Stay updated on changes to the Municipal offering and pending development.
  • Provide regular progress updates to the team on project timelines.
  • Prepare and handover a scope document to the Municipal team upon award confirmation.
  • Stay current with technology advancements that could benefit the system or roadmap.
  • Convey enthusiasm and knowledge for products to aid understanding and motivate the bid team and Authority.
  • Include cost-benefit analysis of trial projects and participate in other team projects as required.

Requirements

  • Degree level education in an IT-related subject
  • Attention to detail
  • High problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Extensive knowledge of operational systems (Desirable)
  • Experience in Veolia business activities (Desirable)
  • Proactive and forward thinking (Desirable)

Salary/Compensations

  • £34,000 dependant on experience
