About the Role
Join our Logistics team to create a fast, reliable, and transparent delivery experience by optimizing on-demand last-mile delivery operations. You will improve experiences for riders, end customers, and merchants globally, supporting expansion into new areas like grocery and retail.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize modeling approaches for Logistics challenges at scale with squad lead and stakeholders.
- Innovate new modeling solutions using Machine Learning, Operations Research, and Statistics.
- Engineer solutions for automated model retraining and prediction generation through pair-programming.
- Provide ideas in brainstorming sessions to solve complex modeling problems.
- Define data needs and collaborate with data engineering and tech teams on roadmap planning.
- Work with semi-structured data from BigQuery DWH and process with Spark.
- Write maintainable code following software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience applying machine learning methods to real-world datasets.
- Fluency in Python and familiarity with scientific/visualization libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Plotly).
- Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
- Experience solving regression and classification problems with statistical, linear/non-linear, and ensemble models (Random Forest, XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost).
- Experience with Big Data platforms like BigQuery/Spark.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
- Ability to write maintainable code following software engineering best practices.
