About the Role

As a Solution Architect, you will leverage your expertise in the Engine technology and architecture to articulate the Engine product, identify client needs, and contribute to the design of client solutions. This role spans both sales and delivery phases, as well as ongoing client success, requiring collaboration across various Engine departments.

Responsibilities

Become an Engine expert, understanding its architecture, technology, and functionality.
Effectively communicate Engine's capabilities and value to technical and non-technical audiences.
Lead technical designs during the Engine implementation phase.
Build relationships with stakeholders at client organizations and SI partners, including Engineering leads and Service Owners.
Collaborate with clients and SI partners on the technical details of Engine implementation.
Provide solutions to identified requirements and work with Product and engineering teams to fulfill them.
Contribute to shaping Engine's product roadmap.
Support existing clients with additional capabilities to meet their strategic aims.
Help clients maximize Engine’s current and future capabilities.
Document scope and roadmap decisions to guide subsequent delivery waves.
Act as a technical champion for existing clients, ensuring their ongoing success.
Take ownership of the technical aspects of client deliveries.
Collaborate with SI partners to overcome challenges and achieve seamless integrations.
Provide expert guidance to client engineering teams using documentation, API specifications, and sequence diagrams.
Troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with the Client Success team.
Translate client needs into new technical requirements.
Architect innovative solutions to enhance the Engine platform.

Requirements

Experience of end-to-end software engineering / solution architecture across the software delivery lifecycle.
Experience with software service design and integration, such as RESTful APIs, OpenAPI specification and sequence diagrams.
Experience of cloud infrastructure and large-scale cloud applications.
Experience working in a client-facing role and building relationships with stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
Experience delivering complex messaging to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluent English language skills.
Fluent in at least one relevant regional European language (ideally French or Spain).
Focus on delivery and getting things done for a client.
Ability to work well with people from a variety of levels, roles and technical backgrounds.
Ability to communicate clearly about technical subjects.
Comfortable working in a varied role, collaboratively in a team, with a flat structure.
Comfortable travelling nationally to our London office.
Comfortable travelling internationally.
