About the Role

Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will perform general maintenance and repairs in company-owned oil change facilities. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and relies on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in areas of general building systems, tire rotation lifts, pneumatic pumps, air compressors, portable equipment (transmission flush, coolant, and A/C machines), carpentry, plumbing, and painting.
• Retrieve, document, and complete work orders via the company's Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Perform preventive maintenance work according to the assigned schedule, company/manufacturer's recommendations, and industry standards.
• Complete break/fix work order assignments within specified service level time frames.
• Complete and/or provide assistance on special projects as assigned.
• Assist other Maintenance Technicians as necessary.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and organizing of parts and materials in the Maintenance vehicle and warehouse location.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in maintenance/facilities or related field.
• Ability to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
• Use and understanding of CMMS and computer skills (MS Office, Excel or similar).
• Strong communication, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer service oriented.
• Organization and time management skills.
• Professionalism.
• Teamwork and collaboration.
• Must be able to stand, walk, run, bend, twist, repeat movements, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and use hands to grasp/move/assemble objects.
• Must be able to use two limbs together while remaining in place.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
