About the Role

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is seeking a motivated academic cardiologist for a faculty position within the Cardiology Service. This role focuses on the cardiovascular care of patients with cancer, optimizing cardiovascular health throughout the cancer continuum. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary cardio-oncology program dedicated to providing expert care and advancing research in the field.

Responsibilities

Provide cardiovascular care to patients with cancer, including prevention, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular disease.
Participate in a multidisciplinary cardio-oncology program.
Evaluate and manage cardiovascular complications related to cancer therapies.
Provide comprehensive care for patients with pre-existing cardiovascular disease.
Participate in inpatient consultation services.
Conduct ambulatory clinic visits.
Perform advanced cardiac imaging.
Engage in multidisciplinary treatment planning.
Contribute to the growth of MSK's cardio-oncology program through clinical care, education, and research.
Develop collaborative clinical and translational research initiatives.

Requirements

M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree.
Excellent clinical, communication, and team skills.
Board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
Demonstrated Level II competency in echocardiography, including TTE, TEE, and stress echocardiography.
Demonstrated commitment to academic scholarship.
Seeking to expand clinical research and investigator-initiated studies focused on cardiovascular complications of cancer and cancer-directed therapies.
