About the Role

We are seeking a Visionary ACD Copywriter to join our global creative studio. The ideal candidate will have a strong copy background, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record of leading successful global campaigns. You should have experience running award-winning campaigns, a deep understanding of creative that works throughout the funnel, and a portfolio demonstrating how your creative campaigns have influenced culture. Fresh, unique thinking is essential, as is the ability to articulate and execute strategy through creative output, staying ahead of trends to ensure brands are current and innovative.

Responsibilities

  • Build a Center of Creative Excellence
  • Lead by example by putting the craft into writing no matter what brief
  • Pitch breakthrough creative ideas that answer the strategic brief
  • Build and maintain key relationships with Marketing executives
  • Deliver best-in-class creative campaigns for the VISA brand and Client Marketing
  • Innovate and stay ahead of advertising trends and capabilities
  • Influence and inspire teams across the globe with beautifully crafted and strategic creative campaigns
  • Focus on all parts of the funnel – Upper, middle, and lower
  • Build relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Help lead, inspire, and collaborate with internal teams and client partners
  • Build client relationships with strong presentation skills
  • Contribute to an environment that fosters remarkable creativity
  • Ensure quality output in all creative work

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 6-8 years of experience
  • Deep agency-side or brand side experience working with or at global brands
  • Thought leader of highly successful creative, brand development, and multichannel marketing campaigns
  • Experience working on campaigns that have driven outsized business results and won industry recognition
  • Experience on working on successful pitches
  • Willingness to be pro-active in ideation
  • Excellent communication with proven ability to present to clients and leadership
  • Role models and influences aspirational behaviors of leading courageously, obsessing about customers, collaborating as one Visa, and executing with excellence
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present with impact
  • Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Resourcefulness with strong sense of accountability and results-oriented drive
  • Ability to initiate and drive opportunities independently across multiple complex projects with strategic implications, while operating in a fast-changing environment
