About the Role

Responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of Onto Innovation's Metrology and Inspection tools, ensuring maximum tool uptime and excellent execution.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maximum tool uptime and excellent execution of installation and support of hardware issues.
• Respond to down tool situations and requests for Maintenance when required.
• Provide correct documentation and feedback to the US factory.
• Provide feedback to the sales team and identify potential future sales leads.
• Provide Applications feedback for constant product improvement.
• Analyze equipment log data and prepare reports for customers using MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in person to facilitate efficient support.
• Professionally represent the company to the customer and develop good customer relations.

Requirements

• Preferred Field Service experience in the Semiconductor Business.
• Previous knowledge of equipment fault detection with experience in electrical, mechanical, and software.
• Preferred experience in Semiconductor applications.
• Ability to work unsupervised yet within a team setting.
• Excellent interpersonal & customer communication skills.
• Ability to efficiently utilize all Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• English: Conversational level.
