About the Role
Help build and run the platforms that power Deloitte's AI products and services, with hands-on ownership across cloud, Kubernetes and deployment automation. Tackle big issues like cyber, trust, resilience and digital transformation. Bring your Systems/DevOps engineering experience to our AI team, where you'll help deliver secure, scalable platforms for high-impact work across Australia.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and improve the infrastructure that underpins AI solutions, with a strong focus on CI/CD, cloud platforms, Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code.
- Refine deployment pipelines.
- Manage cloud environments across Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Use tools like Terraform, GitHub, ADO and ArgoCD to create more reliable and repeatable delivery.
- Focus on performance, resilience and security.
- Monitor system health and reduce downtime.
- Manage secrets, credentials and DevSecOps controls.
- Create environments that are stable, compliant and ready to scale as demand grows.
- Solve practical delivery challenges and remove friction from the release process.
- Work closely with developers, QA and operations teams.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience building and managing Kubernetes workloads.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and/or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as GitHub, ADO and ArgoCD.
- Experience writing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Solid grounding in Linux/Unix, networking, databases, messaging and security.
- Scripting capability in Bash, PowerShell or Python for automation.
- Familiarity with security protocols such as OAuth, SAML or OpenID Connect (nice to have).
- Experience in a mature managed services environment (nice to have).
