Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate production activities to achieve business objectives.
- Manage teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Oversee production planning to meet customer requirements and optimize efficiencies.
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed through regular checks.
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor for employee accessibility and supervision.
- Ensure open, direct, and respectful communication across the site.
- Drive a safety-first culture and achieve safety targets.
Requirements
- Experience overseeing operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels.
- Strong drive and urgency with an energetic personality.
- Well-developed leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach experienced team members.
- Experience leading/supervising teams on a unionized site.
- Organizational skills including influencing, problem-solving, project management, time management, decision-making, goal-setting, and cost management.
- Prior experience delivering successful teams and fostering a continuous improvement environment.
