About the Role
The National Traveler Vascular Technologist will travel to one of our nation-wide clinics on a weekly basis, performing diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease. This role requires a high standard of medical ethics and self-motivation to increase understanding of venous disease, producing diagnostically sound images with hemodynamic data for physician interpretation in a compassionate and caring environment.
Responsibilities
- Performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures following professional, technical standards, and company-specific protocols.
- Produces sonographic images and measurements that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of venous disease.
- Responsible for the daily operation of ultrasound equipment.
- Maintains a high standard of medical ethics.
- Self-motivated to increase understanding and knowledge of venous disease.
- Capable of producing diagnostically sound images with hemodynamic data for physician interpretation.
- Performs all tasks necessary to provide a compassionate and caring environment.
- Promotes excellent patient care.
Requirements
- Residence must be in close proximity to a major airport.
- Completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or Cardiovascular Technology Program (Noninvasive Vascular Study).
- Able to travel weekly to any of the CVR clinics.
- If flying, typically flying out Sunday evening and flying back home each weekend.
- All travel expenses are covered.
- A daily food allowance is provided.
