About the Role
Join our Tech Hub team as a Product Specialist Manager and help Australian businesses create value and improve how they work. You’ll bridge business needs and technical solutions to deliver products that meet real customer needs, protect against risk, and turn data into insight—empowering teams and driving sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Translate business and risk requirements into technical control designs and implementations.
- Design and test technical configurations, including DLP policies, GPO settings and related security controls.
- Work with NIS and platform owners to implement required changes across technologies such as Forcepoint, firewalls and other data protection tooling.
- Analyze logs and telemetry to validate control effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop supporting technical documentation, operational procedures and control designs.
- Ensure product health end-to-end—serve as the expert lead for a specific product, monitor performance, manage issues and risks under governance, and coordinate resolution with global teams and vendors.
- Use research and analysis to inform decisions—manage product research, produce clear documentation, and contribute across the full product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Deep product and technical expertise with excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills; able to advise stakeholders and directly contribute to solutions.
- Proven team leadership—experience as a first-line operational leader, mentoring and upskilling junior staff, setting annual priorities, and delivering results across teams.
- Customer- and collaboration-focused—strong grounding in customer support best practices; effective partner to Product Managers, Sales, Support, and global/vendor teams; curious, values-driven, and constructively challenges the status quo.
- A proactive problem solver—strong judgment to tackle complex work, experience leading medium-scale projects, meticulous attention to detail, and a risk-aware approach.
- Encouraged to apply even if not meeting every requirement, as transferable and relevant experience is valued.
