About the Role
This 9-month fixed-term contract position supports the Learning & Development Manager and team in designing and implementing programs aligned with company goals. Responsibilities include identifying learning needs, facilitating training, and managing L&D projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage People & Culture service desk tickets, assess requirements, and take appropriate action.
- Collaborate with People & Culture to support stakeholder learning and capability needs.
- Identify and recommend conferences and workshops aligned with the capability and skills framework.
- Partner with People Partners to develop managers and leaders, empowering them to lead their teams effectively.
- Design and facilitate bespoke internal training sessions and workshops as needed.
- Coordinate with vendors to plan VGW Essentials and VGW Academy training calendars within budget.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance training effectiveness.
- Analyse key reports and support Engagement Survey initiatives.
- Define and track business metrics to evaluate program success.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Learning & Development Specialist or similar role.
- Self-sufficient and experience working in the technology, gaming or adjacent industries is desirable.
- Strong understanding of organisational behaviour, change management principles, and adult learning theory.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
