About the Role

We are seeking a Marketing Partnerships Creative Manager to lead creative development, design, and execution of partnership campaigns and sales materials. This role involves developing partner campaign positioning and strategy, crafting marketing campaigns to inspire sign-ups and drive outcomes for brand partners, and supporting an Ad Sales organization. The ideal candidate will partner with external agencies, partners, and cross-functional teams, acting as a partner-facing strategist and brand gatekeeper.

Responsibilities

  • Be a creative leader and director.
  • Set creative strategy, ensuring business objectives are met and the narrative reflects strategic intent.
  • Manage the end-to-end creation and development of multiple concurrent campaigns.
  • Manage and partner with agencies to develop innovative content-driven solutions through partners.
  • Guard the attribution, usage, and representation of the Netflix brand and titles in partner & ads creative.
  • Be a creative thought partner.
  • Introduce new partners and agencies to the Netflix brand and present best-in-class partner creative case studies.
  • Lead creative workshops, presentations, and briefings, owning the feedback loop and output with partners and agencies.
  • Uncover creative opportunities on titles to develop creative briefs, concepts, and presentations for partners.
  • Own the production and execution of creative output.
  • Own and direct the design, curation, and delivery of creative assets for partners.
  • Provide executional oversight and coordination of all creative sales enablement materials.
  • Manage bespoke AV productions/shoots.
  • Drive innovative ways for Netflix Ads to be represented.
  • Lead project management and creative operations for Ad Industry Tentpole events and large projects.
  • Ensure all B2B sales assets are reviewed, approved, and delivered on-time.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of track record in brand or consumer marketing at an advertising agency or in-house Creative team.
  • Extensive experience of creative marketing communications in Japan and understanding of cultural relevance.
  • Ability to scan data, behaviors, comms plans, and consumer research to find partner and content insights.
  • Ability to ideate for any media space and impact the right audience.
  • Ability to shape and pitch creative concepts.
  • Ability to lead the thought process with partners and agencies from briefing to production.
  • Ability to drive multiple projects from start to finish and turn ideas into reality.
  • Knowledge of production with the ability to execute flawlessly.
  • Fluent English and Japanese speaker with excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable collaborating with multiple internal cross-functional teams.
  • Confident in influencing external senior stakeholders.
  • Curious and creatively-minded.
