Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, treatment, and monitoring of cardiopulmonary disease across the continuum of care.
- Function as part of an interdisciplinary team to coordinate and provide continuity of care in a financially responsible manner.
- Quickly and accurately assess a patient's condition.
- Communicate effectively to the care team about changes in patient's condition, results of diagnostic studies, symptomatology, and response to treatment.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.
- National Board for Respiratory Care Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required before first day of employment.
- Current Minnesota Respiratory Therapist License (LRT) required before first day of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent required.
- Good verbal and written communication skills required.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to function with initiative and independent judgment; desire for continuous quality improvement.
