About the Role
The Facilities Leader will lead a dynamic team of technicians, ensuring the upkeep and performance of equipment and facilities. This hands-on role demands a technical expert with leadership skills, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment (conveyors, pumps, motors, sensors) across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot complex issues to maintain optimal uptime.
- Lead, mentor, and develop technicians.
- Manage service schedules.
- Recruit skilled tradespeople.
- Assign work orders via CMMS platform.
- Monitor KPIs (downtime, repair costs, technician utilization).
- Manage inventory for market and field vehicles.
- Collaborate with leadership to align maintenance efforts with business goals.
- Develop and manage budgets.
- Work with vendors for parts and contracts.
- Oversee warranty claims and service agreements.
- Ensure facilities meet regulatory standards.
- Conduct safety training.
- Implement safety protocols.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, with 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Experience with CMMS platforms and work order management systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage remote teams and large geographic areas.
- Background in industries like plant facilities, heavy equipment repair, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety standards, and equipment operations.
- Satisfactory criminal background and motor vehicle check.

- $105,500 to $112,500 per year plus 20% annual bonus
