About the Role
Support the execution of Internal Audit investigations within AXA Japan to provide timely, independent assurance and improve the control culture. The role involves executing investigative work effectively under supervision, with general business process knowledge and solid interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Triage and escalate allegations.
- Lead assigned cases to execute and document all phases of investigations, including interviewing employees and analyzing evidence.
- Perform quality checks on processes and documentation.
- Analyze trends in allegations and investigation matters.
- Report allegations and investigation activities to management.
- Integrate legal and regulatory requirements into the framework.
- Guide management in developing action plans for control failures.
- Develop and maintain relationships within the Internal Audit family and with business stakeholders.
- Enhance staff awareness of the whistleblowing channel and support related initiatives.
- Contribute to the investigation community through development, knowledge sharing, and best practices.
- Support the audit team in reporting investigation summaries and key control failures to management and Group Internal Audit.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of key business risks, including emerging risks.
- Periodically review relevant documentation to understand risk profile evolution.
- Pro-actively identify training and development needs and develop own professional network.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a control, legal & compliance, investigation, HR, or employee relations role.
- Ability to analyze data sets using Excel, Power BI, or other analytic tools (advantageous).
- Possess relevant professional qualifications, knowledge, and experience for the role.
- No unresolved doubts regarding repute or integrity.
