About the Role

Partner closely with Sales teams to drive strong financial performance and decision-making. Work directly with senior Sales stakeholders, building trusted relationships and bringing the commercial story behind the numbers to life. This role requires comfort in moving between P&L performance, forecasting, and analysis, and collaborating with Sales leaders on performance and commercial drivers.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Sales stakeholders, including senior leaders, providing practical commercial finance support and insight.
• Lead monthly performance reviews, helping stakeholders understand performance and the key drivers behind the numbers.
• Deliver core FP&A activity including forecasting, budgeting, month-end, accruals and variance analysis.
• Support strong financial governance and controls, including customer investment agreements and SAP.
• Partner with Sales to work through customer claims, trading terms and other commercial issues.
• Oversee monthly CDS volume reporting and support annual audit and compliance requirements.
• Look for opportunities to simplify reporting, automate manual processes and continuously improve how the team works.

Requirements

• Experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A and Finance Business Partnering is a must.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to partner with senior Sales stakeholders.
• A solid understanding of P&L performance, forecasting, budgeting and commercial drivers.
• Experience working with SAP and financial reporting/planning tools.
• CA/CPA qualification, or equivalent professional finance qualification.
• The ability to turn financial information into clear, practical insights for non-finance stakeholders.
• Enjoy getting close to the business.

• Comfortable building relationships across the commercial team.
• Able to balance strong financial discipline with pragmatic business partnering.
