About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Product Designer to join our collaborative team, focusing on crafting exceptional customer experiences within the travel industry. This role involves simplifying complex problems, planning work streams, conducting user research, and building strong stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities
- Simplify complex problems into holistic solutions considering customer and business needs.
- Plan and manage your stream of work.
- Conduct user research and testing.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Seek to understand user needs and business goals, translating them into user-friendly solutions.
- Generate wireframes, visual mock-ups, and prototypes for testing, validation, and iteration.
- Communicate design ideas and solutions clearly to stakeholders, incorporating feedback.
- Validate and enhance designs iteratively through customer testing.
Requirements
- Experience in user-centred product design across end-to-end design processes for complex digital products.
- Proficiency in Figma with excellent knowledge of prototyping.
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers.
- Understanding of responsive design.
- An eye for detail for detailed handovers to the engineering team.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and juggle priorities to meet tight timelines.
- A portfolio showcasing product thinking and UI/UX design experience (e-commerce and travel experience are a plus).
- Portfolio link must be included in the application.
