About the Role
This role is for a Senior UX/UI/Service Designer to play a pivotal role in a major digital integration program, transforming multiple advisor, customer, member, and partner experiences into a unified, scalable ecosystem. The initial focus is on portal consolidation, with opportunities to contribute to future digital experiences across retirement, wealth, and insurance products.
Responsibilities
- Lead the UX, UI, and service design of a digital integration program, consolidating multiple portals into a seamless user experience.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to improve customer, member, adviser, and partner journeys.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business objectives into user-centred design solutions.
- Champion best practice design systems, accessibility standards, and consistent design patterns.
- Conduct research, usability testing, and journey mapping to uncover customer needs and validate design decisions.
- Bring creativity and commercial thinking to various initiatives, including digital journeys, customer communications, and future-state propositions.
- Influence the organization's digital evolution by advocating for human-centered design and leading design discussions.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering UX, UI, and/or service design outcomes across complex digital products, platforms, portals, or customer-facing experiences.
- Strong expertise in wireframing, prototyping, user flows, information architecture, journey mapping, and user-centered design.
- Ability to lead design initiatives, influence stakeholders, and navigate ambiguity.
- Deep understanding of design systems, accessibility standards (WCAG), and digital best practices.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience working closely with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
- Experience within agency, consulting, digital transformation, or platform migration environments is highly regarded.
- Exposure to financial services or other regulated industries will be advantageous.
- A portfolio that showcases both strategic thinking and visual creativity.
