About the Role
Lead risk and regulatory transformation for financial services organisations, including banks, superannuation funds, and insurers. Be part of market-leading projects with global scale and complexity, and participate in mentoring, coaching, and leadership programs.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on governance, risk, controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Embed leading practice and help clients respond to emergent risks and shifting regulation.
- Lead high-performing project teams, taking ownership of quality, client service, and project financials.
- Coach and develop junior colleagues.
- Build profile in the market.
- Contribute to the growth of the broader practice.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of governance, risk, controls, and regulatory matters relevant to financial services, ideally across superannuation, banking, or insurance.
- Experience designing and implementing contemporary risk frameworks and operating models across the Three Lines of Defence.
- Experience delivering complex risk and regulatory topics such as accountability, business continuity, third party risk, operational resilience, or operational risk management.
- A track record leading organisational transformation, from mergers and demergers to operating model refresh and restructuring.
- Strong complex problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise analysis into clear, digestible outputs.
- Highly effective written and verbal communication, with a talent for building strong client relationships.
- Experience leading and mentoring teams, with a genuine passion for developing others.
- Prior professional services experience is advantageous.
