About the Role
Set technical direction for Axiom's frontend, ship user-facing features end to end, build interfaces that stay fast under a constant stream of live market data, own performance, responsiveness, reliability, and interaction quality, debug production issues, and evolve the frontend architecture while keeping it simple and maintainable. Raise the engineering bar through strong judgment and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Ship user-facing features end to end, from concept to launch, with design and product
- Build interfaces that stay fast under a constant stream of live market data
- Own performance, responsiveness, reliability, and interaction quality
- Debug production issues across the browser, the network, and the backend
- Evolve the frontend architecture while keeping it simple and maintainable
- Raise the engineering bar through strong judgment and mentorship
Requirements
- Deep React and TypeScript experience
- Excellent programming and debugging fundamentals
- A track record of shipping fast, reliable, polished products
- Sharp product judgment and an eye for detail
- Comfortable working with high ownership in a fast-moving environment
