About the Role

Nova Credit is seeking a Staff Product Manager with 8+ years of experience to own and scale the Property Management vertical. This role involves setting product strategy, building the roadmap, and shipping products that help housing providers verify applicants faster and more accurately while meeting regulatory requirements. You will partner with property management and screening platforms, and work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Compliance, and Go-To-Market teams.

Own the product strategy for the Property Management vertical.
Build the product roadmap.
Ship products that help housing providers verify applicants faster and more accurately.
Meet challenging regulatory requirements.
Partner deeply with property management and screening platforms.
Work closely with Engineering, Data Science, Compliance, and Go-To-Market teams.
Translate needs into impactful product requirements.
Get deep on the Property Management vertical and its use cases.
Build strong cross-functional partnerships.
Listen to customer feedback to understand pain points and needs.
Dive into product metrics and company KPIs.
Deliver key features from the roadmap.
Make preliminary assessments on longer-term goals and priorities.
Define and own the prioritized roadmap for the Property Management vertical.
Set quarterly product goals for the vertical.
Become the subject matter expert for Nova Credit’s Property Management vertical.
Launch and iterate on multiple initiatives.
Deepen integrations and partnerships with property management and screening platforms.
Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic cross-functional partners and key customers.
Refresh the product strategy for the vertical.
Contribute to annual roadmapping and Nova Credit’s long-term product vision.

Requirements

8+ years in product management.
B2B or B2B2C experience.
Proven track record of shipping high-performing products.
PropTech / property management background.
Direct experience in property management, tenant screening, or affordable housing (Strongly preferred).
Comfort with regulated spaces and compliance (FCRA / CRA obligations, affordable-housing program requirements).
Data fluency, including writing SQL queries and building Mixpanel dashboards.
Customer obsession, with constant customer interaction and synthesis of insights with quantitative data.
Cross-functional range, navigating technical trade-offs, debating UX approaches, tying prioritization to revenue, and communicating complex concepts.
Bias toward action, breaking down ambiguous problems into achievable milestones and driving them to resolution.
