About the Role
Provide high-quality legal and administrative support to a Partner and team of lawyers, ensuring efficient practice operations and an exceptional client experience. Become a trusted member of the practice, managing competing priorities with professionalism, initiative, and attention to detail. Contribute to a collaborative Legal Assistant community with opportunities for wellbeing, diversity, inclusion, professional development, and social connection.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage complex inboxes, diaries, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Coordinate matter administration, including engagement processes, compliance requirements, and file management.
- Build strong relationships with clients and support client events and business development activities.
- Manage billing processes from end to end, ensuring invoicing requirements and deadlines are met.
- Prepare and format correspondence, presentations, reports, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate document production and assist with the delivery of client work.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members and contribute to broader practice administration as required.
Requirements
- 3-8 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal PA within a law firm environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting a Partner and team of lawyers in a fast-paced practice.
- Proven end-to-end billing experience; exposure to Aderant will be highly regarded.
- Strong proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite.
- Confidence working with legal systems and technology.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining calm, responsive, and client-focused.
- Proactive and collaborative approach.
- Confidence to work independently when required.
- Professionalism, discretion, and a can-do attitude.
