About the Role
A growing fleet maintenance operation seeks a Bilingual Fleet Supervisor to bridge communication between management and a predominantly Spanish-speaking mechanic team. This role focuses on communicating priorities, enforcing standards, improving accountability, and ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient repairs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of communication between management and shop technicians, ensuring expectations, priorities, and policies are clearly understood.
- Hold technicians accountable for workmanship, productivity, safety procedures, and adherence to company standards while helping to foster a positive and professional shop culture.
- Conduct quality-control checks, review completed repairs, identify performance gaps, and provide coaching or training to improve consistency and reduce repeat issues.
- Assist with workflow coordination, technician development, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize efficiency and vehicle uptime.
- Utilize Fullbay shop management software to review work orders, monitor repair activity, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience in a maintenance, fleet, diesel, automotive, transportation, or heavy equipment environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of maintenance operations
- Ability to lead, mentor, and hold employees accountable
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with quality control and enforcing operational standards
- Comfortable using computers and shop management software
- Dependable, proactive, and detail-oriented
Skills
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Fullbay experience is a plus
