About the Role

Podium Automation is seeking a Procurement Analyst to ensure on-time delivery of components for industrial control panel manufacturing. This role involves converting requirements into purchase orders, tracking orders, and proactively identifying at-risk items to maintain production flow. You will work with Odoo and an AI supply chain platform, gaining exposure to building a procurement function from the ground up. Collaboration with electrical engineering, operations, and finance, as well as building supplier relationships, will be key.

Responsibilities

Issue and manage purchase orders for active projects, maintaining cost and lead-time within budget.
Track Bill of Materials (BOM) lines from purchase order to receipt across active builds, identifying delays and expediting at-risk items.
Monitor component demand across the project pipeline and identify long-lead items proactively.
Assist in qualifying new suppliers and maintaining relationships with existing vendors.
Maintain accurate procurement data in Odoo and track on-time delivery and cost variance metrics.
Identify component alternates, multi-source options, and End-of-Life (EOL)/change notices for engineering and management.
Support the development of procurement processes and supplier scorecards during company scaling.

Requirements

0-2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in hardware, manufacturing, or an electrical/industrial setting.
Proficiency in using an ERP/MRP system daily.
Solid Excel and data management skills.
Strong organizational abilities to manage numerous open orders and details effectively.
Clear communication skills, with comfort in following up directly with suppliers.
Ability to work on-site 5 days a week at our Brooklyn, NY HQ.
