About the Role

As a Sourcing Partner at Sofar Ocean, you will identify, engage, and build relationships with top-tier talent in maritime and climate tech. You will partner with the People Team and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and source candidates for a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of technical roles, skills, and the tech landscape.
• Track record sourcing for technical and industry-specialist roles simultaneously.
• Comfortable engaging candidates through thoughtful outreach and building long-term relationships.
• Curious and love learning about people and how they can contribute to Sofar's mission.
• Thrive in a metrics-driven environment and motivated by meeting and exceeding sourcing goals.
• Comfort with Boolean search, ATS tools (Ashby), and creative channels beyond LinkedIn.
• Comfortable navigating change and ambiguity in a growing company.
• Always looking for ways to improve and innovate sourcing approach.
• Independent operator mindset, comfortable owning pipeline with minimal hand-holding.
• Passionate about Sofar Ocean’s mission to connect the world’s oceans.
