About the Role

Join Expedia Group as a Senior Product Manager for Brand Expedia (BEX), a trusted name in global travel. You will own a significant part of BEX's lodging customer experience, focusing on how travelers discover, book, and arrive at their accommodations. This role involves designing and delivering experiences for families, aiming to make Expedia a trusted guide rather than just a catalog. It's a high-ownership position requiring influence across teams to define customer problems, align stakeholders, and drive execution.

Responsibilities

  • Shape how millions of travelers experience finding and booking a stay on Expedia, from search to arrival.
  • Develop deep empathy for specific traveler segments by understanding their search behavior, anxieties, and trust factors.
  • Translate customer insights into a clear product roadmap, balancing immediate improvements with long-term differentiated experiences.
  • Partner with Experience Design to craft coherent end-to-end experiences across all surfaces.
  • Drive a rigorous experimentation program, defining hypotheses, success metrics, and making ship/iterate/stop decisions.
  • Operate effectively in a platform-dependent organization, managing dependencies and communicating trade-offs.
  • Apply AI/ML thinking to consumer experience problems for safer, measurable, and meaningful customer benefits.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience in B2C product management with a bachelor's degree, or 6+ years with a master's, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience owning consumer-facing product areas across their full lifecycle with measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong customer intuition to understand traveler problems and translate them into product decisions.
  • Proven experimentation mindset with the ability to design tests, define guardrails, interpret results, and make data-informed decisions.
  • Track record of shipping work through cross-functional teams without direct management.
  • Strong UX partnership instinct, having worked closely with design to craft coherent end-to-end experiences.
  • Experience in online travel, lodging, or a comparable consumer marketplace is preferred.
  • Deep familiarity with consumer shopping and booking surfaces is preferred.
  • Familiarity with personalization, recommendation systems, or AI-powered search features is preferred.
  • Comfort in a matrixed, platform-dependent organization is preferred.
  • Strong written communication skills for PRDs, executive narratives, and decision documents is preferred.
