Responsibilities
- Develop scalable computer systems for managing large volumes of information to achieve business goals.
- Design, implement, and deploy adaptable rules systems for internal assessments, scoring, and automated actions to mitigate financial risk and improve efficiency.
- Design and build tools to ingest and process signals from various sources for partner teams.
- Participate in all aspects of the software development workflow, including large-scale deployment.
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
- Debug production issues across services and multiple stack levels.
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field plus 4 years of experience in Software Development or a related occupation.
- Employer is willing to accept a 3 or 4 year US or foreign degree.
- 4 years of experience in building software solutions in Python, Ruby, Objective C, C++, or similar.
- 4 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable systems.
- 4 years of experience in translating business needs into software requirements and designs.
- 4 years of experience in debugging production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
- 4 years of experience in distributed systems.
