About the Role
Shape the future of the financial industry in Assurance Financial Services Industries. You will join a highly qualified team supporting financial institutions in optimizing processes, minimizing risks, implementing regulatory requirements, and adhering to compliance standards to develop sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Support clients through analysis and expert advice in optimizing and implementing financial processes.
- Work on model-based solutions for incorporating current macroeconomic forecasts into balance sheet risk provisioning according to IFRS9 and IDW RS BFA 7.
- Act at the interface between CRO and CFO functions in the complex interplay of accounting, regulation, and risk management, gaining insights into the overall bank management of clients.
- Utilize novel technologies and methods such as machine learning or other AI tools for specific Financial Reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in economics, business informatics, business mathematics, or a comparable field.
- Ideally, initial professional experience in consulting, auditing, or the finance function of large companies.
- Interest in accounting, stochastic modeling, economics, and innovative technologies.
- Enthusiasm for quantitative issues and their implementation into sound and practical solutions.
- Enthusiasm for risk management issues and solving complex problems.
- Willingness to travel.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
