About the Role
Radiant is seeking an experienced HVAC Installation Manager to lead its residential HVAC installation department. The ideal candidate will be skilled in people leadership, quality assurance, and departmental operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop HVAC Lead Installers, Apprentices, QC Field Supervisors, and Install Coordinators.
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, and retain top installation talent.
- Manage daily installation operations, scheduling, capacity, and crew performance.
- Ensure every installation meets Radiant's standards for quality, safety, code compliance, and customer experience.
- Provide hands-on field support, technical coaching, and training when needed.
- Develop apprentices into confident, successful Lead Installers.
- Review job performance and control labor, material, and installation costs.
- Identify problems quickly and implement solutions.
- Reduce callbacks through strong training, accountability, and quality control.
- Lead daily huddles, team meetings, and one-on-one coaching.
- Build a culture of accountability, recognition, and growth opportunities.
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of HVAC install management experience.
- Strong residential HVAC installation experience.
- Previous leadership, supervisor, or management experience strongly preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC equipment, installation practices, troubleshooting, and code requirements.
- Proven ability to lead, train, coach, and hold teams accountable.
- Understanding of job costing, labor, materials, productivity, and profitability.
- EPA Certification.
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
- ServiceTitan experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
