About the Role
Under supervision, the Bidder researches product pricing to determine optimal prices for B&H, collaborating with various departments to establish competitive pricing that maximizes return.
Responsibilities
- Researches optimal pricing solutions for all received bids
- Identifies product replacements when requested item is unavailable
- Coordinates with product specialists, buyers, and pricing experts when necessary
- Returns signed bids
- Assesses the context of the bid to maximize profitability
- Understands the customer bid history and applies that knowledge
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- Utilization of MS Office programs
Skills
- Excellent knowledge of B&H’s product lines
- Understanding of pricing structures, manufacturer incentives etc.
- Proficient in UNIX and applicable databases
- Analytical thinker and quick problem solver
- Exercise interpersonal skills within team environment
- Detail-oriented and quick thinker
Experience Level
