About the Role

Under supervision, the Bidder researches product pricing to determine optimal prices for B&H, collaborating with various departments to establish competitive pricing that maximizes return.

Responsibilities

  • Researches optimal pricing solutions for all received bids
  • Identifies product replacements when requested item is unavailable
  • Coordinates with product specialists, buyers, and pricing experts when necessary
  • Returns signed bids
  • Assesses the context of the bid to maximize profitability
  • Understands the customer bid history and applies that knowledge

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience
  • Utilization of MS Office programs

Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of B&H’s product lines
  • Understanding of pricing structures, manufacturer incentives etc.
  • Proficient in UNIX and applicable databases
  • Analytical thinker and quick problem solver
  • Exercise interpersonal skills within team environment
  • Detail-oriented and quick thinker

Experience Level

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience
